Need help and not sure where to look

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right space but I need a solution and I've always heard of how friendly and supportive this forum was.

I'm in my early 30's and for as long as I can remember I've been tired both mentally and physically. My mother said I was quite energetic until I was about 3. Since then, I've been very sluggish. Growing up I was in swimming year round and baseball in the summer so I was active. I was always the slowest. Running, for example, looks like I'm falling forward more than anything. My mother says it's like my body couldn't keep up. On top of that I have always had a very hard time gaining muscle and my endurance sucks. I've been working out for about 3 years with a mix of CrossFit and weightlifting and it feels like I should be much further. I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but everyone improves so much faster than I do. Also, it's very inconsistent. One day I can rock it and get a new PR and the next day I can't get close. During a workout, I get winded very easily and I sound like an asthmatic after a workout (I'm not, I've been tested) but I also recover fairly quickly. I find it hard to breath properly in general when I work out. I've had blood tests and everything has come out normal. I'm also vegan but this started way before I was vegan. I follow up with a nutritionist and eat well.

Basically, I'm always tired, my cardio sucks, my endurance sucks, and it's incredibly hard to gain muscle. I was hoping anyone here has any ideas about what I could do. I want to be energetic and active. I really want to be motivated to workout. A trainer at my gym says we should be motivated by our own success but it's pretty hard to be motivated by your success when your always lagging behind.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I've run out of things to look up on google, and my doctor simply says it's "my baseline". (In other words, deal with it.)
