My fiance can't lose weight unless she does keto

And keto totally fukks up her stomach to where she has bouts of severe constipation- like she will be on bathroom for 2 hours without being able to poop and her belly feels like it's about to explode. She never has these problem outside of doing keto


What the hell can I do?? She works out very very hardcore with me with weights 5 days a week and she eats healthy and low calories- around 1200-1500 cals a day. She's 5'10 196


How can she lose 30 lbs without doing keto? Is there a reason why keto is only thing that works and how can she not have this severe constipation with keto? She was taking fiber supplements every day and eating lots of veggies and some fruits and drinking tons of water. She still had the severe constipation


She keeps asking me for help and I feel so helpless because nothing I tell her seems to work. I should mention she has a good amount of muscle now

Female bodybuilding originally developed as an outgrowth of not only the late nineteenth-century European vaudeville and circus strongwomen acts, Bernarr Macfadden's turn of the century women's physique competitions, and the weightlifting of Abbye "Pudgy" Stockton, but also as an outgrowth of the men's bodybuilding. The contest formats of men's events during the 1950s to the mid-1970s had often been supplemented with either a women's beauty contest or bikini show. These shows "had little to do with women's bodybuilding as we know it today, but they did serve as beginning or, perhaps more properly, as a doormat for the development of future bodybuilding shows."[2][3] Physique contests for women date back to at least the 1960s with contests like Miss Physique, Miss Body Beautiful U.S.A., W.B.B.G. and Miss Americana, I.F.B.B.. Maria Elena Alberici, as listed in the Almanac of Women's Bodybuilding, won two national titles in one year: Miss Body Beautiful U.S.A. in 1972, promoted by Dan Lourie and Miss Americana in 1972, promoted by Joe Weider. Mr. Olympia, Arnold Schwarzenegger was a judge at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York when Maria Elena Alberici (aka) Maria Lauren won Miss Americana.[4][5] It was not until the late 1970s, after the advent of the feminist movement and female powerlifting events that women were seen as capable of competing in their own bodybuilding competitions.[2][3]


During this period, women's bodybuilding was starting to achieve some serious mainstream exposure. Pro competitor Anita Gandol created a stir by posing for Playboy in 1984, earning a one-year suspension from the IFBB.[citation needed] Erika Mes, a Dutch competitor, posed nude for the Belgian issue of Playboy in September 1987, also earning a one-year suspension.[citation needed] Lori Bowen, winner of the 1984 Pro World Championship, appeared in a widely broadcast commercial for Miller Lite beer with Rodney Dangerfield. Additionally, competitors Lynn Conkwright (1982) and Carla Dunlap (1984) were included in ABC's Superstars competition.

In 1985, a movie called Pumping Iron II: The Women was released. This film documented the preparation of several women for the 1983 Caesars Palace World Cup Championship. Competitors prominently featured in the film were Kris Alexander, Lori Bowen, Lydia Cheng, Carla Dunlap, Bev Francis, and Rachel McLish. At the time, Francis was actually a powerlifter, though she soon made a successful transition to bodybuilding, becoming one of the leading competitors of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The main theme of the movie pitted the sultry and curvaceous Rachel McLish, the current champion; against the super-muscular Bev Francis. This "rivalry" brought to light the true dilemma of Women's Bodybuilding and exposed the root of all the controversy (aesthetics vs size) which was the focal point at that time and which still continues today. In 1985, the National Women's and Mixed Pairs Bodybuilding Championships were held in Detroit, Michigan by promoter/bodybuilder Gema Wheeler (Long). It was the first amateur bodybuilding event televised internationally by ESPN Sports.

For several years in the mid-1980s, NBC broadcast coverage of the Ms. Olympia contest on their Sportsworld program. The taped footage was telecast months after the contest, and was usually used as secondary material to fill out programs featuring events such as boxing. Typically, the broadcasts included only the top several women. Nevertheless, Rachel McLish and some of her leading competitors were receiving national TV coverage. McLish authored two New York Times best-selling books - "Flex Appeal" (1984) and "Perfect Parts" (1987) – and was also starring in action films. The popularity was growing and women were being empowered and inspired to train. In 1983, the top prize money for the women bodybuilding was $50,000, equal to that of male bodybuilding.

The Ms. International contest was introduced in 1986, first won by Erika Geisen. In 1987 the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), who were sanctioning amateur bodybuilding at the time, positioned the International as a premiere amateur event. It was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The AAU brought Serge Nubret (a former Mr. World, Mr. Universe and Mr. Europe) from France to be the featured guest poser. Since 1988, the competition has been sanctioned by the IFBB. Since the demise of the Pro World Championship after 1989, the Ms. International has been second in prestige only to the Ms. Olympia. The 1989 Ms. International was noteworthy for the fact that the original winner, Tonya Knight, was later disqualified for using a surrogate for her drug test at the 1988 Ms. Olympia contest. Consequently, runner-up Jackie Paisley received the 1989 title. Knight was suspended from IFBB competition through the end of 1990, and was forced to return her prize money from the 1988 Ms. Olympia and 1989 Ms. International, a total of $12,000 (Merritt, 2006).

I started weight training with a coach about 2 months ago three days a week and we go pretty hard. I started with a 36b bra size and now that I am seeing great results all over, I am also seeing that I am losing my breasts and they are looking more like sagging skin. I find this mildly devastating and I don’t know what to do….

Want to End It All...

Stats: 17, female, 5'7, fluctuating from 120-145 lbs IN A SINGLE MONTH
My Binge always starts out with A bite of something forbidden, something off my diet list, colliding with the deep gnawing from having eaten less than 800 calories and exercising like a maniac and downing caffeine like no one’s business for four days.
It’s always four days, give or take, before I break — which I inevitably do. I break because my body is fighting against one of the most pivotal survival urges. I know not to **** with my body’s hunger signals because the binge will inevitably occur, but the problem is that I binge anyways no matter what or how much I eat. I’d rather minimize the damage while I can.
The first bite delivers a jolt of dopamine but it’s never, ever enough. I chew and swallow like a predator going down on its prey, my restriction rules of x number of chews per bite completely wiped from my mind. I eat so fast that when I finish that peanut butter sandwich and realize I didn’t put another two pieces of bread in the toaster my anxiety rises and I blindly grab whatever is near me, nuts, seeds, bananas, whatever. The funniest thing is that my binges are never on unhealthy foods but rather calorie-dense healthy foods, the carbs and fats that I would completely avoid when I was only eating 800 calories of tuna a day.
One sandwich turns into another, a bowl of cereal topped with whole milk becomes eight, three whole bowls of oatmeal down my hatch. My stomach is swollen to the point where my mother comes into the kitchen and exclaims that I’m pregnant. My head pounds and my stomach screams for mercy, the fullness and bloating almost unbearable. I grab three 250 calorie keto bars and scarf them down. I then toast more broad and pour a cup of olive oil on the ten pieces. I eat until I feel sick, I eat until I physically can’t take another bite, wait a couple minutes for the nausea to subside, then eat an entire jar of peanut butter while I’m waiting anxiously for my mashed purple buttery sweet potatoes to toast. I
decide that I’m too impatient and microwave the potatoes for five minutes. Even those five minutes are unbearable as I need more more more food. I grab another jar of peanut butter and dump half of that on two bananas, then decide to make myself a milkshake of whole milk, bananas, and half a jar of peanut butter. I cook meat and eggs with butter and watch my 600 lb life, observing my painfully stretched out belly and conclude that at least I’m not Tammy Slaton. The binge finishes in a stupor, I can’t think being so full, the carbs and fat slowly seeping into my stomach, the irritability and strangely horniness invading my body in full force.
I’ve become a shell of myself since last year. When COVID-19 hit and schools went online, I began to lose my passion, my spark, my liveliness in exchange for a few pounds. Once an avid 15 year old public speaker and reader and student, I’ve lost all interest in school and when B’s used to horrify me it doesn’t matter, my weight is the only thing that matters. Reading articles on ways to shed pounds, researching pills, losing myself in the systematic precise counting of calories (never above 1000!) before almost in autopilot the inevitable 5000 calorie binge happens. The guilt and despair fills my system but the fullness somehow energizes me as I feverishly write down my restriction goals, promising that this will be the last time I ever ever binge, fueled by my fullness and dizziness and hate and the fact that I hate that fullness makes me come alive, I hate it so I try to suppress it back for a week at most and on and on and on and on.
The past month, having becoming more efficient at purging, provided another problem — the binge didn’t matter as long as I was getting the calories up. But I found out horrifyingly that purging made my binging come back with a vengeance and that I would binge and purge thousands of calories a day, to the point where I was gaining more weight than the time where I was simply binging, just because I thought that the purging eradicated the wild binges.
I had a wake up call today, though. Something in me snapped. I don’t want to fight anymore. No more binging and purging, not for me, I simply will eat one meal a day for the rest of my life, never over 1800 calories, exercise fasted chewing the food x amount of times, taking sips of water in between to bloat my stomach, and all will be fine and dandy.

Please, please, please. I'm considering taking Adderall so I can finally never eat again. Please someone help me.
