THE PLANK :
The plank appears to be a simple exercise because you aren't even moving while performing it. But a plank requires more skill than you may imagine.
When people use the word "plank," they typically mean the forearm plank, where your elbows and forearms are on the ground instead of your palms (like in the start of a push-up). That is known as a "high plank."
Since you attempt to keep the position for a specific period of time, planks also aid in the development of endurance. But remember, maintaining a plank for longer doesn't always mean it's "better." If you're performing a plank properly, even a brief period of time—say let's 20 seconds—will feel challenging.
